Ingredients
- 225 g self raising flour
- 40 g salted butter cold
- 125 ml milk fridge cold
Method
- Rub the flour and butter together with your fingertips until it resembles coarse sand. You can also blitz in a food processor.
- Add the milk and mix until it forms a rough dough ball.
- Lightly flour your bench then roll the dough out to about 2 cm thick.
- Cut into 4 to 6 pieces.
- Brush the tops with milk.
- Bake at 200 Celsius for 10 minutes.
- Let cool for at least 10 minutes.
- Serve with butter jam or cream.
