Asian Sesame Salad

 


Asian Prawn Salad

A fresh crunchy salad with bright flavours and a simple sesame dressing

Serves 2 to 3
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 0 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 medium carrots finely sliced
  • 1 medium red capsicum finely sliced
  • Quarter medium red onion finely diced
  • Three quarter cup chopped coriander
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
  • 300 g cooked cocktail prawns
  • 2 green onions finely chopped

Method

  1. Add all ingredients into a large bowl.
  2. Add your favourite dressing. I used my Asian sesame dressing.
  3. Toss well and serve immediately.

Tips
  • Add extra coriander for freshness.
  • Use chicken or tofu if you want a different protein.
  • Mandolin slicing gives the best crunch and even texture.
Storage

Best eaten fresh. If storing keep the dressing separate. Can be refrigerated for one day.
