Ingredients
- ¼ whole butternut pumpkin, chopped into small cubes
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil or olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon cooking salt, to taste
-
Optional: extra cinnamon to finish
For a sweeter vibe, add a pinch more cinnamon after cooking
Method
- Add the pumpkin cubes to a bowl.
- Drizzle over the oil, then add garlic powder, cinnamon, and salt. Mix well to coat.
- Tip into the air fryer basket and spread into an even layer.
- Air fry for 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Test one piece. If it is still firm, air fry for up to 2 more minutes.
- Check at the 1 minute mark so you do not overcook them.
Tips
Cut the cubes as evenly as you can so they cook at the same speed. If your air fryer runs hot, start checking at 13 minutes.
Storage
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for 3 to 5 minutes to bring the edges back.
